Electronic Larynx

An electronic larynx (also known as an artificial larynx or electrolarynx) is a device used by individuals who have lost their natural voice, typically due to a laryngectomy (surgical removal of the larynx, often due to cancer or other medical conditions). The electronic larynx provides an alternative way for these individuals to produce speech by generating sound vibrations that are transmitted to the vocal tract, allowing the user to speak.
