Capacitance Needle lumen detection
Capacitance relies on the principle that electrical charge storage depends on the distance between conductive surfaces, the dielectric properties of the materials between them, and the geometry of the system. This principle can be used to detect changes in the internal structure of a needle and its interaction with the human body lumen.
In human body lumen detection, the capacitance between electrodes in the needle (or a catheter) and surrounding tissues can reveal information about the interaction between the needle's internal space (lumen) and body cavities (blood vessels, ducts, or organs).
